Stein Study has partnered with two leading French Language Schools. InLingua La Rochelle and the award-winning ‘French in Normandy’ Language School in Rouen to offer Irish Second and Third Year students online language lessons by some of the best French Language Teachers in the world.
These lessons are offered online using Skype (a video conferencing tool) and can be taken privately or with your friends. You will work closely with your teacher and focus on the mechanics of the French language, listening, comprehension, grammar, and vocab. The lessons will be geared towards the Junior Cert Exam. You will also run through Junior Cert Past Papers as part of the course.

Private Online Junior Cert Prep Class
One Lesson is 60 mins and is conducted on Zoom (a video conferencing software)
Registration Fee – €120 (Course Registration and Course Materials including worksheets)
One to One lesson – €65 per lesson
Two to One lesson – €40 per student
Three/Four or Five to One lesson – €30 per students
NB – these lessons are for Irish Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Year Students. You can choose which Language School you would like to take your lessons with.

We are working with French in Normandy and InLingua La Rochelle to bring you online courses. Stein Study does not set the fees. The Language School's are tailor-making this Leaving Cert Prep Course for you and to do this they have put together worksheets that take time and money to prepare.

Yes. You can purchase these lessons on a one to one, two to one, three to one, four to one or five to one basis. Skype allows all students to join the same class seamlessly.
Yes, you will take an online level test which will determine your level and help the teacher prepare for the lesson.

Yes, you can choose if you want to be taught by InLingua La Rochelle or French in Normandy.

I enjoyed learning French by playing games through French during school. I think that learning French this was has improved my vocal and the leaving cert prep classes did help me prepare for my exams next year.
It was great to be able to learn French and be surrounded by real French people and experience what it would be like to get up every morning and travel to work or school. The teachers were always nice and I really enjoyed the excursion on the Weekends.
It was extremely good. The tours and activities were well organised, and they were very interesting. All the staff were excellent, very understanding easy to talk too and friendly. My host family were so great. They were always understanding and eager to help me improve my French. The experience over all was incredible and I notice an improvement in my French. I loved my time in La Rochelle so much that I came back for a second trip during the summer and stayed with the same host family again. Stein Study done an amazing job organising this trip for me. My standard of French really improved during my time here especially my oral and aural. Oral work was definitely what I found most difficult prior to my time in La Rochelle however I find it so much easier now. The morning classes were really beneficial when we spoke about general topics such as the media on sport for example. It was really good to practice Leaving Cert papers too however I don’t think it was necessary to do as many as we did.
The whole experience was extremely positive. Stein study literally organised everything! The French school and staff were particularly approachable and helpful.
It was an enjoyable experience. The second week was more enjoyable as there were more activities which were all very enjoyable. Improved in my French during the time I was here – mainly due to the classes
