This intensive Spanish course in Seville is designed to improve your Spanish language skills in just a few weeks during your Transition Year. As well as 25 general Spanish classes a week, you will also receive 5 one to one Spanish lessons per week. All classes are tailored for Irish TY students and focus on preparing you for your upcoming exam years as well as a focus on Spanish oral comprehension.
The course is run in partnership with an outstanding language school called International House Clic, who provide a great mix of group study, private tutoring, cultural workshops, activities and tours.
The destination of Seville has much to offer students including sun, warmth, joy, culture, history, folklore and festivals. It is an energetic, cosmopolitan and creative city that is very popular among students from all over the world. It is well known for its beautiful and elegant architecture with one of the best-preserved old town centres in the world.
TY Intensive Course students will stay with a carefully selected host family located within close distance to the language school during your stay and benefit from being in an immersive Spanish family environment.

Students stay with local Home Stay Families located a maximum of 25 mins walk to the Clic language school. Stein Study work closely with our partner language schools to ensure that Home Stay Accommodation is carefully chosen and vetted. The language schools we work with fully understand the concerns of parents and the needs of students to ensure a safe and comfortable stay.
Staying in Home Stay Accommodation is a fantastic way to fully embrace the local culture, language and way of life. During this immersive experience, you’ll speak Spanish on a daily basis with your friendly Home Stay Family in a laid-back family environment.
Single and twin rooms are available with breakfast, packed lunch and dinner included.
Students can share a host with friends but this is not recommended as we find students will mix more with their family if not with a friend. If you want to share, we can also place you with another student that is studying at the language school.
There is a curfew of 11.30pm Sunday to Thursday and 12.30am Friday and Saturday.

Students will stay in Home Stay Accommodation with a well vetted and carefully chosen local family close to the language school
Students can opt to share a host family with a friend or can be placed with another student if they have travelled alone. Staying with a student who you didn’t know before your trip is a great way to widen your circle of friends while getting the chance to practice your language skills with new people. The school will accommodate all requests as best they can.
Having a foundation of conversational Spanish is beneficial to students going on any of our language courses but even less advanced students will see their fluency flourish in a short space of time during this intense language course
All meals are included in the price. You will however need money for socialising and shopping during your time away.

I’ve loved my time away in La Rochelle. I came here not having a huge amount of French. And now I fell l have a good understanding of all the basic and feel I have improved hugely. We went sailing every Friday and that wold have to be one of the highlights of the trip. Going into shops and buying something, I struggled at the start but a few weeks in I had no trouble. I’ve really enjoyed the last month.
I really enjoyed my time here. The host’s house was a great place to stay. The morning classes were very good. I moved to a harder class half way through the course as I had improved so much. My first class was less about speaking French and more about practicing comprehensions. It was much better in the other class where a lot more time was spent discussing different topics. The activities outside of the school were good including surfing and going camping and to a concert. We weren’t given a lot of time to do what we wanted to in town but we were kept entertained. It improved my spoken French.
I had a Fantastic experience with Inlingua, I felt the classes were extremely beneficial and the activities we did with Yann and my host family couldn’t have been more accommodating. All the teachers in the school were extremely helpful and did everything they could to ensure I got the most I could have from this trip. If there was one small thing I would change would be maybe to have a longer morning class until maybe 1.30 then not have an afternoon class as in the sunny days, I really wanted to be outside. I really enjoyed my trip and would recommend this to a friend.
The school was great and I learnt loads of french. The teacher that I had (Jean Luc) was very helpful also! The host family I stayed with was very nice and she helped us with our french a lot because she always spoke french to us.
I have Found my language Experience very good and I think I have learnt a lot. Our Host was very nice, and I have learnt a lot from listening to their conversations at dinner, going to classes has also been very good and our teachers very good and I felt that I have learnt a lot. I have also really enjoyed doing all the activities an getting to walk around La Rochelle. The teachers are nice, and they ensured that everyone enjoyed the activities. I think La Rochelle is a great place to come as the weather is nice and there is a great night life which had been fun to experience. I feel that I have learnt a lot from the classes and just listening to French people talking when we are out and about
The Staff in the school are really nice and friendly. The activities they planned for us were all fun. Classes were fine. Our host family was so nice and welcoming.
