Stein Study has partnered with the award-winning ‘Clic International House’ Language School in Seville to offer Irish Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Year students a 2 week or 4 week online Spanish Course taught by some of the best Spanish Language Teachers in the world.
This course is made up of 15 hrs of Spanish tuition per week from 9 am to 12.40 pm Monday to Friday. The lessons are offered online using Zoom (a video conferencing tool) in small groups maximum 8 per class. You will work closely with your teacher and focus on the mechanics of the Spanish language, listening, comprehension, grammar, and vocab.
As part of the course, students will have access to an online platform full of learning resources, access to private lessons and a vast amount of cultural programs. The school also runs a virtual tour of some of Seville’s hotspots as well as a full cultural programme from 1pm to 2pm everyday. If we get 6 or more students on one date we can tailor the lessons for Leaving Cert as we can make a private group

Live Online – Spanish Intensive Course
The course is from 9 am to 12.40 pm Monday to Friday and is conducted on Zoom (a video conferencing software)
Registration Fee – €120 (Course Registration and Course Materials including worksheets)
Two weeks – €250
Four weeks – €550
NB – This course is not private, you are placed in a group for your level with up to 8 other students.
We also offer private lessons if you would prefer to learn alone or with your friends.

You will sign into the classes online via your laptop or computer. You will receive some course work before the course starts to review and you will take part in lessons and activities online
This course is suitable for all second-level students. This includes students who are in 4th, 5th and 6th years. Students will do an online test before they are assigned into a class group based on their language level.
This course is for 4 weeks but we also allow you to book for 2 weeks.
If you are interested in traveling to France in Summer 2020 or 2021 please just let us know. As of right now the school expect to take students from July 2020.

The family I stayed with were very friendly and accommodating , the teachers were very relaxed and helpful, much more enjoyable than regular school, the trips were tiring but enjoyable and gave me the opportunity to further practice my french, I learned a lot!
I'm delighted to give a review of Anne-Marie’s 6 week stay in Cádiz. She would tell you that it was the highlight of her TY year and a tremendous opportunity for her to mature and experience increased levels of independence. She learnt a considerable amount in Clic for the three weeks she was there and enjoyed the cultural experience of the three weeks she had in college. She found the children exceptionally warm, welcoming and interested in her. Anne-Marie’s host mum Maria was really wonderful. She spent a lot of time with Anne-Marie allowing her time to practice the Spanish she was learning and she and her husband were very kind. I couldn’t speak highly enough of them. Cádiz is a wonderful town for teenagers to visit, to learn a language in a safe and interesting environment. Anne-Marie always felt comfortable walking around town and she became adept at taking buses.
There were a lot of activities to get involved in and the French classes were very helpful.
When I first arrived I had a decent understanding of French oral expression but my host family and the teachers in the school made a great effort to improve my French through various activities and different topics of conversation. We did a lot of afternoon and evening activities which always kept me occupied. At dinner in my house I was always asked about my day in French which I think was hugely effective towards improving my French.
Very Good, the games and activities were very good to help people get to know each other and the freedom afterwards helped this too. The host’s were very friendly and seemed happy to have us. Everyone was included. Teachers were very nice and friendly. The classes were very good.
My daughter travelled with Stein Study to Cadiz for 2 weeks last June and had a very positive experience. Nikki from Stein Study was super to deal with. She answered all my queries and was very efficient. The accommodation was close to the school and the family were very friendly. The girls ate out most nights so I would budget that in. The school was well run and any issues we had were dealt with immediately. My daughter felt her conversational Spainish improved while there. I would definitely recommend the trip but would suggest staying longer if you really want to improve you skills.
