This exclusive course is for students wanting to improve their French and play tennis in France. Students spend between 2 and 6 weeks studying French at the Inlingua language school and finish the course with 1 to 2 weeks of tennis coaching, training and tournaments. It is an incredible opportunity to follow your French course with a week or two of your favourite sport while making new French friends!
In the first few weeks of this course (choose between 2 to 6 weeks), students join the school’s TY Intensive Course which offers 25 classes a week (60mins per class), of French lessons entirely in French. 3 of those classes will focus on French Exam preparation. Classes are small and focused – up to 10 people.
After spending at least 2 weeks on the TY Intensive Course, students embark on an exciting 2 weeks of tennis. Run in partnership with the Tennis Club of Aytré, Inlingua organises a regional youth tennis tournament with local French players from the local region. The players take part in 2 or 3 tournaments per week depending on their results. The coach, Christophe, practices with the group, organising training sessions between the official matches and participating in meetings to give advice on mental and physical techniques and tactics.
An evaluation will be organized the week before the tournament allowing players to be entered at later stages in tournaments according to their level. Participants should have already played in tennis tournaments in their home country.
