Are you looking for an exciting and educational short term study abroad experience for your TY? If Spanish is one of your Leaving Cert subjects then consider studying Spanish in Spain with one of our TY Intensive or Leaving Cert prep courses. Spending some of your transition year abroad will benefit your language skills and provide you with an exciting and unforgettable experience.

Here’s a summary of what our short term courses in Spain offers Irish students looking to study abroad in their 2018/2019 TY

• 20 to 25 group Spanish lessons per week (with a focus on the LC syllabus)
• 5 to 10 Leaving Cert Classes per week focusing on the Leaving Cert and oral comprehension.
• Small classes of 10 students
• A full-time group leader for Stein Study students only. One group leader for every 10 student
• Cultural Programme every afternoon
• 1 x Full day excursion every Saturday
• Transfers to/from the airport
• Homestay accommodation with full board

Cadiz

The student-friendly town of Cadiz is known for its beautiful stretch of beaches, surf and great weather. Its thriving marketplaces, vibrant plazas, pretty white washed buildings and narrow cobbled streets will give you a taste of the real Spain. The courses are run with an outstanding language school – International House Clic, Cadiz where students enjoy the combination of study, daily activities and weekend excursions.

Seville

Sun, warmth, joy, culture, history, folklore and festivals are just some of the many things that Seville has to offer making it a popular destination amongst students of all ages. Seville is the capital city of the Andalusian region of Spain and well known for its beautiful and elegant architecture and Flamenco dancing street performers.. The courses are run with at the outstanding language school International House Clic, Seville, who combine top quality study with cultural workshops, activities and tours.

In both destinations, students stay with local host families who are carefully vetted and chosen for the student. This provides further opportunity for students to experience the Spanish culture and to practice the language.
