Stein Study student Ailbhe spent 2 weeks in Lindenberg last June on the LC Prep Course improving her German ready for her LC this school year. We spoke with Ailbhe to find out how she found her stay in Lindenberg and how she has benefitted from the course.

Here’s what she had to say:

Do you feel that your language skills have improved as a result of your trip?

Yes, my language skills have improved, my listening skills in particular. My confidence grew in my oral German and I learned a lot of grammar.

What was the most fun element of your trip?

The most fun elements were making new friends and meeting new people from all over the world. The excursions were also fun as I got to see different parts of Germany. The overall experience itself was very memorable.

How was the accommodation?

I stayed at the Humboldt Institute school accommodation and it was excellent. The rooms were very modern and cleaned regularly. The rooms had an en suite bathroom and plenty of storage. I also had a gorgeous view from my window!

What did you enjoy most about your trip?

I particularly enjoyed all the excursions and just being in Germany! It was very nice to spend time with friends and just have a laugh whilst improving my language skills.

Would you recommend a Stein Study study abroad course to a friend?

I would definitely recommend Stein Study to a friend.

Any other comments?

The booking process was very easy and there was always someone there to help. Everything was taken care of and I felt very well looked after. The only problem I had was that my flight was delayed and so I arrived very late at 1.30 am so I started the course very tired.

Thank you Ailbhe for some great feedback! We are taking bookings now for our 2020 courses in Germany which run throughout the year including the option to combine German and skiing.  Take a look at the German courses we run here at two beautiful rural locations Lindenberg and Bad Schussenried.
