An insight into our school on the French Riviera

Our Junior Summer Language Courses in France are run by the leading French language school – Centre International D’Antibes (CIA). The language school has two campuses which are located in the towns of Antibes and Cannes on the French Riviera in the South of France.

In the town of Antibes, the school campus is located right next to the beautiful sandy beaches. And in Cannes, the school boasts one of the most attractive campuses on the “Côte d’Azur”.

This outstanding language school is recognised as the best language school in France with 30 years’ experience of teaching French as a foreign language. Stein Study offers Junior Summer Courses at the CIA for students aged 13 to 17 during their TY or school holidays.

A look at the Cannes campus

The Cannes campus is ideally located just 1 mile from the Croisette and beaches (the beach front road and promenade made famous by the film festival). The campus can house up to 120 teenagers on its 7.5 acre plot of land and includes classrooms, student accommodation, a swimming pool, restaurant and impressive sports grounds.

  • Accommodation: Students stay on-campus in double bedrooms for two students sharing. They are modern and spacious.
  • Meals: Meals are buffet style with picnics provided for excursions at the weekend
  • Activities: Students are kept busy during their free time, with organised activities including sports tournaments, themed events and excursions and sailing lessons.

There is no need to leave the campus with so much to do onsite but of course you will want to explore the famous town of Cannes and spend time at the beach! Make use of the schools free shuttle service in the afternoons, evenings and at weekends.

A look at the Antibes campus

Antibes is an easy going town ideal for teenagers. It is fun and safe for kids to get around the town by themselves. The school campus is located in a residential area surrounded by 5 acres of gardens and includes classrooms, bedrooms, a swimming pool, cafeteria, TV room, amphitheatre and sports grounds. It is located near the beach, where students opt to spend much of their free time during the summer months.

  • Accommodation: Students can stay on campus or with a host family. On campus, students share a room with 3 or 4 other students with common bathroom facilities situated on each floor. Host families are located within walking distance to the school and students share a room/family with one other student.
  • Meals: For students staying on campus, they have all meals at the school cafeteria. For students staying with host families, they have breakfast and dinner with their family, lunch at the school cafeteria and a packed lunch at weekends.
  • Activities: There are plenty of fun activities each day including sports, organised games and sailing lessons.

Student Carol summed up her experience by simply saying:

“I loved my visit to the CIA!”

And returning student Claire says:

“It’s a pleasure to be back at the CIA! The supervisors are so cool and nice”
