The top 5 things to do in Antibes for students

Antibes is one of our most popular destinations to study french in France. Located on the French Riviera, this small and safe French town has plenty to offer Irish students looking to study abroad this Spring or Summer. It is a fun and sunny town; seen as a junior version of Saint-Tropez with lots to do both day and night.

The courses are run with one of the best French language schools in France – Centre International D’Antibes which has two campuses located right next to the beautiful sandy beaches.

Here are a few of the top things to do in Antibes during a study abroad course:

  • Beach time

After morning classes and study time, students are allowed some free time with their friends in the afternoons and also at weekends. The beach is a popular choice for our students where you can make the most of the sunny weather and fun beach and sea activities. Don’t forget to practice your French language skills when ordering that ice cream!

  • Sailing

Enjoy your weekly sailing lesson – part of the course excursion programme. And if you get the sailing bug, you can opt for additional sailing lessons in your spare time.

  • Marineland

One of the weekend excursions organised by the language school, is a trip to Marineland which includes a water park, a marine zoological park and dolphinarium. This trip is no doubt always a big hit with Irish students.

  • Cannes and Nice

These two well known towns are located nearby in the same area as Antibes and are well worth a visit either as an excursion with the language school or with your host family at the weekend.

  • A scenic tour of the town

There are plenty of historical sites and cultural places of interest in the town. Visit the Le Fort Carre and Picasso Museum and soak up the French culture and atmosphere.
Don’t miss out on the opportunity to study abroad in this sunny beach-side French town. Click here for details of our Junior Summer Course in Antibes that runs from March to August.
