Here’s our pick of the best things to do during a study abroad experience in Seville.

  • Seville Old Town

Seville has one of the best preserved Old Towns in the world – Santa Cruz. See the beautiful palaces in Spanish and Moorish style alongside houses painted in vibrant Spanish colours. Don’t miss the Cathedral with the Giralda, tower, and the Reales Alcázares and gardens. You will get plenty of time to visit the old town during your spare time in the afternoons or at weekends.

  • Isla Magica Amusement Park

Your course includes a number of fun weekend excursions including a trip to this popular theme and water amusement park. The park has a range of fun and thrilling rides and it is always a popular excursions amongst students of all ages.

  • Flamenco dancing street performers

During your free time, visit the city at night and see the many Flamenco dancers that perform in the illuminated city streets. Go with friends or with your host family. Either way, Seville is a safe city to explore at night.

  • Tarifa-Baelo Claudia

Another exciting excursion included in your course is a day trip to the Roman city of Baelo Claudia in Tarifa. You’ll get to see the archaeological Roman remains and learn about this 2,000 year old ancient city.
